This was a trip with friends and family.  My son drove from Fort Worth to join us for the day.  We caught the 12 huge snappers one right after another.  It was very exciting and can’t wait to go back.  The Mahi was an extra as Captain Paul’s deckhand spotted the school as we were traveling and we caught all 10 in about 30 minutes.  Although we booked it as a snapper trip and we got our limit quickly, Captain Paul took us to some other spots and well as doing some trolling.  It was an action packed day.  I am not a fan of just sitting waiting on the fish to bite and that was never the case. 

I also really appreciated access to a private bathroom.  This was a mixed trip and so a private spot was an extra nice feature.

Captain Paul’s knowledge of the waters and fish turned the travel time into a time to learn more about fishing, boat care, and the Gulf of Mexico.  I enjoyed hearing about his adventures as the captain of larger private yachts and catching swordfish and other sports fish.  It was truly an amazing day!

Captain Paul is not only a great guide, but a great guy all around too. Being as knowledgeable as he is about fishing in the gulf I knew we were bound to get on some good fish the minute we walked down the marina and met him. The contender he runs out on is one of the smoothest deep water vessels I have ever been on and does not sacrifice comfort for speed, it does it all. This was a great experience for my friends and I to celebrate my 25th birthday. If you are looking to get on quality fish consistently throughout the day message Paul and get a trip booked!!!
