A 55th birthday celebration upon the water! Captain Manny was “a purveyor of fine fun!” and we were buying! Albert (we called him Einstein!) kept the tackle and bait in the water and we were catching fish 30 minutes after leaving the dock.  The Rayne Check is a fabulous boat, with plenty of luxury to relax and eat in between catches. Manny was uncanny, especially with the bottom fishing we did.  No sooner had the bait hit the bottom, we were reeling in the catch! Once landed, Capt. Manny guided the Rayne Check back over the spot and we did it again. And again.  The action was very consistent.  No boring down time. We also timed it up returning to the pier just as a Carnival Cruise ship was departing, so we saw the big ship pretty close!  I would recommend this trip to anyone. Captain Matt was not available for the trip, as he was welcoming a little girl to the family! But he was certain to be sure to give us a great trip, with Manny at the helm and Albert keeping us busy with the fish, we had a great time.  The cooked fish was our catch that we took with us. Shout out to Santorini’s Restaurant, in the Hilton Bentley, for being willing to cook our catch and completing an absolutely wonderful day.
