Of all the captains I reached out to in March, he was the only one that recommended waiting for August to hit the pink run with my daughter. Character is on point with this man. The experience was one that will be a lifelong memory. We will be back to make new ones in the future.

John was great and very knowledgeable of the area, equipment, fish and anything else we wanted to ask him. His setup was awesome. Boat was comfortable and easy to fish on. Makes it look easy. He was quick to get us onto king salmon and in no time we were getting bites left and right. We quickly limited out in under 3 hours! Perfect conditions. Cleaned and bagged our fillets for us! Would use him again without hesitation!

Went on a random Tuesday morning and John turned it into an epic trip! He has a perfect knowledge of the salmon fishing areas and regulations around Puget Sound and we were catching good-sized Coho salmon within 15 minutes of putting our gear in the water. He has all of the cool equipment you need to make sure you catch your limit every day! I cannot recommend him enough - I know we’ll be out fishing with John again!

I have been on many guided fishing trips, and most were very impressive. This was the final boss of that. John is a scientist and artist. I’ve never seen anything like it. Not only is he professional, organized, on time and carries himself with respect and confidence, he backs it up with results in a humble display of excellence. 10/10 this is as good as it gets.
