I wanted to take my out-of-town brother-in-law and a friend for a relaxed half-day fishing excursion in the Bay. Don was great. He knows his fishery, asked in advance about our preferences and accommodated our schedule. We fished for halibut and stripers, and Don was clearly willing to fish as intensely as we wanted. What a awesome day on the bay with Captain Don ! He did a great job making our trip successful for my wife one of my sons and of course myself. This was our first California Halibut trip and we landed 7 halibut with 3 or 4 over 30 plus inches. The amount of fillets that came of them was unbelievable. He is also great at teaching all of us how to fish and land the halibut successfully. Thank you so much for a great trip captain Don

Grandpa, Dad, and two 12 year olds had a great time! Captain Don worked his magic getting us fish when it could’ve been really difficult. He worked hard as Captain and crew, coffee was a nice touch. Easy to get to, and came home with perfectly cleaned fish and ate that day!

I booked a shared three-quarter day, shared trip for my son’s 20th birthday present. My son caught 2 halibut and had a great time. The captain was super friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this trip.
