We had a great day on the water with Captain Antony! He was very flexible about the type of fishing we wanted to do and very helpful in directing us towards the best options for the time of year and conditions. We wanted to catch several different species and were successful in that regard. We had not considered fishing for sharks but it was recommended to us and ended up being an absolute blast! Everyone caught fish and we all had a great time. I would recommend Get Hooked and Captain Anthony to anyone who wants to get a taste of fishing Galveston.

I was not really prepared to catch sheephead. We went to jetties and nowhere else. I was really wanting to fish elsewhere and look for trout and redfish. Having said that, Anthony is a great guide and I know he wanted a guarantee for us to keep fish. Next time I will voice our opinion better and let him know what we prefer. Again, he did a great job and will book him again. Another recommendation, I would have all costs up front stated so that there are no surprises. After the $500 I paid, then I was told about the $100 fuel charge and $30 motor charge. ???? I’d rather see all charges up front. Again, just a recommendation.

The $100 upgrade was for you opting for a more expensive trip type that we recommended and was not in addition to the beginners bay that you originally booked but an upgrade offered to you.
