Took a chance on an early season trip on the Quinault River with Capt Augi.  The goal was to enjoy a peaceful and serene drift among the Olympic Rain Forrest with catching being a bonus.  Augi (with deckhand Cory) was early, prepared he was knowledgeable. and he nailed this trip with consistent action from start to finish. We hammered a trophy summer run steelhead right away then continued with a fairly steady pick of good grade cohos and a big fat King! Took home enough fish to last the winter.... More
