Very professional. A lot of fishing and a wonderful time. I recommend Capitan Nelson and mate Kevin
Thank you Very much. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Miami
This trip was fun and better than I anticipated. We started early in the morning catching bate; the mate was always polite and helpful, teaching us lots of tricks. The captain was amazing, he knows these waters and where fish are biting. I loved the fact that the boat had all the amenities to make our trip super comfortable!
Captain and crew are friendly and always willing to assist, took me to the right spot where I could catch Mahi Mahi which was the fish I wanted to catch.
The charter operator canceled 1 days prior to the trip date. This is an automated posting.
Kevin was best part of trip, but whole trip was way below my expectations. I booked it for my 55 birthday, and money was no object. I told captain beforr we went out that I wanted mahi mahi, and then I learned after we were on boat that we would not be able to get mahi mahi unless we went out to deep water and that required more time. This should have been made clear before we left!...we ended up fishing around same place party boats went outโฆif I had wanted a shallow water, party boat fishing spot, I would have booked a party boat. The captain in no way told me this before the fact, and I felt my whole special day was ruined. Would in no way recommend captain nelson. Kevin, the crew, though was the highlight of the trip. We only got three fish on the whole trip, though thankfully one was a sailfish. Without that one catch, the the whole trip would have been an unmitigated disaster. Would definitely not recommend this captain. I counted on some expert guidance and he came up very short..and I was sorely dissapointed

Iโm sorry you feel that way. First you told me you wanted large fish and only truly large fish and something special. So i decided that since the conditions looked right we would fish the edge of the gulfstream which was in 180 to 200 ft deep that day. A nice mutton snapper was caught and after some moves a nice trophy sailfish was also caught. All the mahi caught 10 to 15 miles offshore were small and undersized. Therefore i am happy with the decision i made.
