Hey bro, I think it’s kind of messed up to give me my absolute worse review I ever received even though 1) I told you the bite had been slow and went out of my way to try the Bay that I TOLD you might be tough but that we could try different areas because it would be calmer than the Gulf and with your mother having so many chronic medical conditions 2) I offered to cut the trip short by 4 hrs and adjusted the rate due to it being slow. 3) I was patient with your mom who struggled and let her line go all into the trolling motor and I was totally cool about it and then giving me a “thumbs down” even after “punishing” me with a ZERO tip - even though I tried my best under tough conditions.

I wish you wouldn’t have went so hard on me when I had no idea you hated everything (except for the hint at the end with the nothing for a tip).

Sorry you didn’t enjoy the trip enough to give me more than 3 stars and a “thumbs down.” Just for the record, I did tell you beforehand the precise type and size of fish we were most likely to catch (Snapper) and you still wanted to go. We ended up catching and keeping 7 Snapper, a handful of Gag Grouper, AND the nice Sheepshead that you son said he was hoping for. You also broke off on a few really nice fish because you weren’t lifting them up off the bottom in time like I was saying to do. I tried really hard to help you all and think you would have done better had you not insisted on switching everyone’s reels to lefthanded style and stuff. One of your righthanded guests was trying to fish with the reel lefthanded AND upside-down. I personally caught more than the other 4 combined and gave you all of the fish I caught to make sure you had a nice bag of filets. Anyway, I just wanted to reply here for others that might be reading this because I actually pride myself on being as accurate as possible with my fishing reports to customers in order to make sure the trip is what they’re looking for. Personally, I don’t believe the above review is entirely fair due to unrealistic expectations. I thought the others in your group seemed satisfied with the charter.
