Had a great time & caught some awesome fish.

It was the morning trip 4 hours. I have 3 little kids. After boarding, i asked the captain that my kids wanted to catch fish. We have experience with bottom fishing so we wanted to feel again that in cancun. The captain said ok, but he started trolling for 2 hours. I asked him several time during 2 hour but the captain just did the trolling.
Finally i asked one more time for bottom fishing, the captain replied to me ‘sea is rough, so is it ok for your kids?’ I said yes and the captain took us to the points. Sea was normal and we were ok.
we did just 45 minutes bottom fishing which we wanted.
We just waisted whole two hours of our time for trolling which we did not want.
I would not recommend this trip.

We had a great day, lots of fish and an experienced crew!

5 guys on a bachelor party hired these guys for 6 hours. We get on the boat, and they offered us a larger boat for an additional 40usd that was suppose to be better in the open waters. We accepted. The new boat contained no one that spoke English. The captain never came down off the upper deck to check on anything. We were never offered food and starved. We were not shown how to use the gear and never felt like we were actually fishing. Mind you we’re all avid fishermen but generally from shore. They would handle the bait which was nice. They knew what they were doing but allowing us the option to do it would have been nice. Once they got a fish on, they would hand us the rod to reel em in - whoop-dee-doo. We/They caught 4 Baracudas total and allowed us to take pictures with them. We were given the option to keep the fish but passed.
