So when you own a small business, bust your hump in the hot sun day after day to give people the trip of a life time at a great price, and get this type of review…what do you do?  This lady booked an offshore PM trip, but the weather went sideways during our AM offshore trip.  We tried to cancel her trip several times, or rescheduled with one of my competitors the next day as we are booked solid for a week, but she insisted her 12 y/o son was an avid angler and would be heartbroken.  After explaining we really weren’t an inshore boat, we agreed to do an inshore trip anyway.  We took $40 out of hide for inshore bait, and to our surprise, the fish were chewing every where we went.  Drum, catfish and four nice sharks made the trip a blast for her son.  After 20 minutes on the phone tonight, I still cant figure out her rub.  She claimed that I had all these great pics, and reviews(which we don’t control) and she somehow felt let down even though her son had the fishing trip of a lifetime
despite the circumstances. She gave the Capt a $50 tip, but chose to give us a bad review.  I could have cancelled this trip with two clicks on my phone, but trying to make a kid happy got this reward.  No worries, if your trip goes sideways due to weather, I’ll still bust my hump to save your trip and give you the fishing trip of a lifetime.
