Ricardo picked me up at the hotel at 06:10 am and took me to the harbour where his partner Sergio and Andre were waiting with some fresh bait caught that night. Fishing was amazing and Sergei and Andre could not have been nicer and more professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning and can warmly recommend MadeiraSightFishing.

We went out with the big boat around 3 pm - we were 4, but only 3 would fish. After a slow start, while looking for the best fishing spots, the frenzy started - 3 dentex caught in 15 minutes, around 7 kilos each. The crew was really helpful, they know the spots, the techniques and besides that they provided a very entertaining overall experience.
We had 5 dentex in total, then we changed spot again and we caught and released 2 barracudas, and saw a few amber jacks but caught none of them.

P.S. our first trip was so nice, as we decided to go again, so 2 days later, on Friday, we went again on the sea.
After a slow start, we managed to hook 3-4 Dentex fish, and successfully land 2 of them, including a large female. We then left the deep sea to go spinning/casting near shore to get barracuda (we got 3 !) and maybe some amberjack or wahoo. We had some chases with amberjacks, but we only hooked barracudas.
So, the second day was quite rewarding too!!

Our teenage boys have wanted to fish for ages so we decided to treat the whole family. What a superb trip. Great crew, really friendly and knowledgeable. Superb boat and we even caught 11 red snapper between us. Well worth it, would highly recommend the trip.

Captain was punctual, knowledgeable and didn’t take advantage of us based on the weather conditions (we were originally booked as a full).  Fishing was good and we had a enjoyable time ... more bait may have been appreciated but can’t fault the captain and crew.

Three great days with these two great guys. Spotless boat with good equipment and very knowledgable crew who are passionate about their fishing! Nothing was too much trouble and they really put us on the fish. Thanks guys, you know we will be back!
