I had a great time thanks to the camp!

I booked the 6-hour Catalina trip with Captain Gerry for my nephew and I, and we had an absolutely terrific experience. No sooner than we got to the first fishing spot, we had lines/bait in the water and fish on within two minutes.  It was like that all day, and Gerry was lining new hooks and bait for us every 2-3 minutes.  All in all, we ended up with 8 keepers - two yellowtail, three bonito, and three calico bass - and an entire day of memories thanks to the knowledge, experience,... Gerry was a knowledgeable fisherman. We started catching fish within 5 minutes of reaching his known honey hole. We had a beginner in our group and was getting tangled up a bit, and Gerry remained very patient and super enthusiastic for us when we would reel one in. We caught over 50 fish with Gerry and he offered to fillet the fish for us. We had a great experience and at the end of the day we got to feed our large family. Would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent fishing trip! I took my 11 year old son who hasn’t done much fishing and was a little bit nervous. Upon getting on the boat Captain Gerry assured us that we’d get fish and he’d look after my son. He wasn’t kidding. We caught about 80 fish out of which 9 were keepers.
