Fishing was not great, no big fish had a few keepers but overall not what i was expecting. Captain seemed to work for us and was friendly enough. Maybe just bad luck?
Great experience. Met a really nice couple from Alanta. Brought fish back to my hotel and had them for dinner that evening.. They were delicious.
Overall it was ok the boat propeller broke and they made us wait instead of cancelling and refunding us. Also not too many fish varieties was tried during the trip. This was my first deep sea fishing experience and no mahi mahi.
Had a great time, weren’t real lucky with fish but overall nice experience.
We had to wait for two guys running late that cut into our time. All we caught was yellow tail. Would have liked to go for mahi or something bigger. Talked to other people who fished that day caught lots of big fish.
Unfortunately when you pay for a split charter you are sharing the boat with two other people we do this so you only have to pay for half the boat we cannot control when the other group gets there and you have to be flexible on the type of fish as both parties have to agree on the type of fishing. In the future we recommend you do a private charter and we would not have to wait for the other group and you can fish for whatever species you would like to target. Thank you
