We loved fishing with Captain John!  He put us onto great snapper on the reef, followed by schools of mahi mahi in deep water. We were reeling them in faster than we could count!  No kidding!  It’s always fun to fish with a guide who pays attention to detail and works hard to make sure you have a great experience- and that’s just what you’ll get if you go fishing with Captain John. Awesome experience. Highlight of our vacation!

Went on a four hour trip on a very windy day. Due to the wind we stayed in shore. We quickly ended in an area populated by Yellow Jacks. Between the four of us we caught about 25-30 of them keeping 3 or 4. We also kept a few mutton and mangrove snappers. After the bite slowed down we caught and released 3 sharks. It was a very enjoyable day when not many boats ventured out. The Captain was efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Coolwater II.

Great experience on the 1/2 day trip - Captain Joe was great even with 1/2 of us ralphing during the trip secondary an aggressive night prior (lol). Caught two big AJ’s and 12 yellowtail’s! I’d recommend Fish Key West

I seldom fish, so it was nice to have someone with patience helping me out. Captain John’s the man!  He took me to a great spot, and I started catching, right off the bat.  I wanted to catch a variety of fish, and that’s what I got.  I caught Yellow Jack, Yellow Tail Snapper, Red and Black Grouper, and a couple that I don’t remember the name of.  I enjoyed a great day of fishing, and conversation.  Thanks John!!
