Went on a morning charter with Captain Dale. There were four of us and he was welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and of course had his deckhand Bear on board which was a bonus. He had bait ready and enough rods for all of us. He kept our lines baited with live bait and we never stayed in one spot if the fish werenโt biting. We each caught our limit to include trout, redfish, and even hard heads. We also caught trout larger than we could keep but he made sure to take our picture first. Captain Dale knew the spots to go and he was kind, funny and focused on us catching fish! We will always use Captain Dale when we come to Port A! Thanks to Captain Dale for a great trip and if you book him, make sure to bring Bear some jerky!

Today was quite the windy day but Capt. Dale got us on the speckled trout in a big way.ย Not all the fish were big but the little guys gave us something (a lot) to catch and release that didnโt count against or daily bag limit.ย Lost count of total catch but filled our limits.ย Plus he gave us a heads up on a local place to cook our fresh catch.

Captain Dale & his boat โSize Mattersโ were positive difference makers on our recent fishing trip. Our family had an awesome time catching a variety of fish. Captain Dale was polite & very respectful to all our family members and worked tirelessly at keeping baits in the water. We drove from Midland, Texas to come fish with Captain Dale. We had a dream day! He was great with our 7 year old and worked hard to make sure we were either laughing or reeling in the entire day. I definitely recommend booking with the Captain if you want to have a smooth day of fishing with a great chance of getting fish in the boat. I will definitely be back.
