Did not catch big fish but caught alot of small ones

While i have not been on a lot, by far this was the best of the 10 charters i have ever been on. 

Captain Travis took us to big fish in tough conditions making sure we were safe but able to fish as much as possible.  The seas didn’t make it easy but what a great day hauling in giants including snapper, wahoo, and a cobia.  Fought some big sharks and also caught some Bonita.  Paying a little extra to take 10 hour and get on big fish is worth it.  I recommend if your going to look at his trips, do the 10 hour to get further out on big ones!

Captain Travis can handle a boat!  He kept us over wrecks even in higher than desired seas.  Navigating around storms when most charters cancelled or headed in.  We would run and gun to stay ahead.  He had a long day at the wheel and stuck it out with us.  At no time did worry about safety as we could tell that was his priority. 

His deck mate named Ryan is impressive.  This young man is mature beyond his years and works his tail off for the customers.  He loves to fish and see his customers land big ones.  Rigging tackle, helping teach new techniques, and full service all day was first class.  So nice to see young people love their job and bust their tail to do it.  Need more kids like this!  If you are Ryan’s parents, guardians, or mentors, well done.  You should be proud. 

Most of all, beyond catching giant fish in tough conditions, these guys were a blast to hang out with.  They talk and cut up with you.  Not these stuffy captains that sit up top and never talk to you.  Both Travis and Ryan got just as excited as we did when landing a fish.  They exceeded my expectations with the whole experience.  I am sure there are other great captains and crews out there but i have found the guy i will stick with on all my future trips.

Best part was 5 man limit on Mahi Mahi.

Group of 6 had a long 1/2 day on some really rough seas. The crew gave us an extra hour plus bc they wanted us to fill the cooler! Honestly felt from the booking to the closing catch photos the whole team really did all the great little things that made the trip. Kitchen Pass is the real deal.
