I feel the captain should have been more direct in his recommendation. He asked what we wanted to do then simply told us not to expect too much then went on. Since we have a lake house we all really wanted to enjoy the day and catch some big fish but if he has been more direct we would probably have gone bottom fishing instead of trolling. Just as in any profession it is up to experts to recommend and if clients go against his recommendation it is their fault. As a result trip disappointing not because we didnโt catch as many fish as expected but because we werenโt advised appropriately especially since he knew it was not going to be a good a day
