This was a huge disappointment for me and my son!  It felt like a total bait and switch.  The advertisement for the trip plainly states that we would be experiencing “ocean fishing”.  Instead, the captain had us meet him at a “canal”.  Not being at all familiar with the waterways there, we thought that the canal would maybe lead to the ocean,  but it was very similar to a river.  The captain drove the boat about a mile down the canal and then had us throw in our lines right there.  The water was shallow and full of rocks, so we spent literally 90% of our trip getting our lines hooked in the shallow water on the numerous rocks.  Also, the captain was obviously very preoccupied with his phone and wasn’t paying close attention to the fact that the boat would continually drift into the bank.  The result of the trip was that my son caught a tiny trout, and I caught nothing.  If we wanted to fish for trout in a river, we could have easily done that in my home town at no cost to us.  The idea of booking this trip was to get a small taste of ocean fishing, as well as at least the possibility of catching an ocean fish…. Its hard to catch ocean fish in a shallow canal full of jagged rocks.  Im not sure if your company actually reads these reviews, but I very much feel like we were taken advantage of.  The total for our trip was only$350, but we felt like we literally threw our money away.  We would appreciate some communication from somebody of authority in your organization please.  Thank you.
