Instead of taking us for what THEY knew was biting we trolled for 6 hours with one bite, which wasnโt what we were there for nor what I was emailed about 2 days prior that were biting.

We went out in some pretty heavy chop, but still managed to pull in a tune while other boats had no luck.ย The Captain Humberto was great and everything was as promised.ย You canโt force the fish to bite, but you can head to where they are and Captain Humberto knows how to find them.

Captain and 1 mate did everything they could to make it a great fishing experience, however fish were not biting. We only caught a barracuda and released it back. Nothing else we understand thatโs whatโs fishing is all about, we enjoyed going out in the water and our group enjoyed the shared conversation. Nice boat and gear great professionalism by 1st mate and captain.

Captain Humberto and Tony were a pleasure to go fishing with. The trip was not a positive experience for me as I got seasick about 2 1/2 hours into the day. Capt. Humberto was very accommodating and concerned about my health, he asked if I wanted to keep fishing, or turn back towards land and keep trolling, or to bring in the lines and head back to the harbour. As I was very sick I asked him to bring in the lines and head back to the harbour. I will definitely book a charter with Double Hook again and hope that I donโt get seasick again.
