Great time Captain was awesome we trolled for bill fish without any luck but he got us on some mahi mahi and bonitas will definitely use peeps fleet next time I’m in Mazatlan

Pepe was amazing. We arrived on a cruise ship. Pepe was waiting for us way before our meeting time. He personally drove us to the marina where captain Ramon was all ready to go. When we stopped to start bottom fishing we were on fish within 5 minutes. When the bite slowed down Ramon moved to another spot and we were on fish again. When we arrived back at the dock Pepe was waiting for us and got us back to the ship on time. I would definitely recommend Pepe and his fleet.

Fishing on Pepe’s fleet was a Great time! Pepe is very friendly and greeted us at our arrival and departure. The Taxi service was on time, the captains (Guillermo and Alberto) were helpful and knowledgeable, and we had a very successful trip! The morning was off to a slow start, but they continued to move us around until we found where the fish were hiding.  Thanks for an amazing trip, our family will savor the memories forever and the boys will have great stories to share!!

We saw some sailfish but did not get a hook up. After my friend fell sick the night before I ended up having to go solo. My Spanish is limited and I basically sat in silence the whole trip.  Needless to say I didn’t learn much about sailfish or mahi mahi fishing other than what I was observing. 

The crew seemed a bit unprepared as we left the dock without beverages and had to go back. They also needed to sync up with another boat once we on the fishing grounds to get bait before we could start fishing.

I do believe they had the right rigging and were doing their best to put me on the fish. I am a long time fisherman so I get you don’t always catch. There were quite a few boats in the same area when we first got there but we were the only boat left fishing after an hour.  I chose the afternoon so maybe morning trips are better with the tides?
