Booked an all day trip, we weren’t disappointed for a single second. Captain Hymie and first mate Ben never set down, and made sure we were on fish all day. We will be back for round two soon.

I shared with captain some past experiences and noted we had the most fun in a hybrid format where we did some bottom fishing and had a pole out at the same time for big fish or did some bottom fishing and then some trolling. Well, captain was adamant that trolling was hot so we trolled for the whole 4 hours. Caught 3 fish, 2 of them being in the last 30 minutes. Captain and the deck hand were great to talk to but the trip overall was very boring.
Last, the 4 hour trip was $650, we tipped $60 at the end (10%) that was also all of our cash. As we were walking away the captain approached us saying the trio cost only pays for the boat and that he and the deckhand work 100% for tips and they normally recommend at least 20% - he was very polite but it was also frustrated especially considering we really just sat there riding on the boat 99% of the time. If that is really the case where the captain and deckhand only get paid in tips then I wish the trip price was higher to ensure they get paid and then at that point if it was a killer trip where we are reeling in fish left and right I would feel more inclined to tip.

Great captain, very experienced, nice boat,big concern that we catch fish , have a good time, very knowledgeable about fishing, caught tuna and we didn’t lose a fish… great mate too, very helpful…

Great day on the water for a bachelor party, started the day fishing the bottom and chumming water and then pulled at shark rod. Hooked into two sharks a bull who broke us off and a 300lb nurse shark.

Cap and Nick did a great job assist our guys on boat who have never fished and made it enjoyable for everyone. Will def be back next year to fish with Cap and Nick.
