Hunter was a very knowledgeable fishing guide. The boat was very comfortable . Super guy. lots of fun. I'd highly recommend Hunter if you want to have a great fishing trip on the Columbia River. Will definitely be back.

Hunter took us crabbin’ and salmon fishing - we only caught a few salmon but the crabs were plentiful! He would be a great captain for anyone from newbies to seasoned fishermen, and was super nice and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, bringing his crab boiler to the marina and cooking our fresh catch! He cleaned all the crab and the salmon for us. He even let us borrow a cooler to take it home with us - don’t forget a cooler for after!!! I can’t give higher praise to Hunter. Highly recommend.
I invited some friends from Hawaii to experience catching their first salmon and Hunter didn't disappoint. As soon as we dropped our lines in we had 3 fish on at once. Hunter worked hard to get us on the fish and kept everyone working together to get some keepers in the boat. The boat was clean with plenty of room and his equipment was top quality. We ended the day just 1 fish short of our limit! Can't wait to plan another trip with Hunter.
My son and I had an incredible day on the water with Captain Hunter. He was superb from start to finish — extremely knowledgeable, patient, and fantastic with my 9‑year‑old. We landed 18 sturgeon, most of them over 5 feet, which is just unbelievable fishing. The boat was perfect for kids, with tall gunwales that made my son feel safe and comfortable the entire time. You can tell Captain Hunter truly loves what he does — he worked hard to keep us on fish and made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and memorable. This is an amazing fishery, and Captain Hunter made it even better. We’ll absolutely remember this trip for the rest of our lives.
Captain Hunter was the absolute most amazing guide!!! Not only was he friendly, professional and courteous, BUT SO KNOWLEDGEABLE!!!
