July fishing trip

We booked an 8 hour trip with Capt Jay Potts. Even though a big storm had been through a couple days before he put us on fish. I have been on several fishing outings with other guides but it this was my GFs first time fishing. The Capt. was patient and thought my GF how to cast and everything. She caught her first fish ...a decent sand trout... on a line she had cast out herself. By the end of the trip she was even catching her own live shrimp. The Capt was down to earth, laughed, joked, and never rushed us along. We caught our limit in Sand trout and also brought home a whiting, a black drum, and a red. We had a blast! We will definitely use him as our guide again. As soon as we got in the truck my girlfriend was asking when we are booking again. Thank you Capt Jay Potts for a great trip and great first fishing memories for my GF! We will see you again!

We had such a great time, words cant describe how special the whole experience was. Captain Jay is the best, he taught us a lot and put us all on new PB’s. I highly recommend this guide service. If youre thinking about booking a trip, don’t waste your time else where, this is the one you want!

From start to finish, this trip was everything i was looking for. Pre-trip communication was easy and clear. On the water Captain Jay shares his knowledge of navigation, avoiding hazards, and locating fish. The boat is a beautiful, well maintained, safe and stable fishing platform. Plenty of space, dry and enjoyable ride. Came home with dinner in the cooler. Overall, great day. Can’t wait to go back out with Captain Jay.
