    I got this trip as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and oldest son, they had an absolute blast. I got photos all day long of the fish they were catching, one after another! They said the captain was awesome and extremely knowledgeable. They had a great day!

    Phenomenal Day Catching Monster Pike!

    Captain Dan is truly exceptional! My wife and I are avid anglers, and for our 3rd wedding anniversary, we decided to do something special—head up to Maine for a chance to catch pike, something we'd never done before being from Georgia. After seeing Captain Dan's stellar reviews, I reached out to see if he could guide us on a pike-focused fishing trip. He responded promptly and we booked the trip at a very reasonable price. From the moment we arrived, Captain Dan made us feel right at home. He welcomed us aboard, showed us where to find the snacks, and we set off across a stunning lake surrounded by breathtaking wildlife—loons, eagles, you name it! Within minutes of hitting the water, we both landed our dream pike, and the experience only got better from there. For anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure with a knowledgeable and personable guide, I can't recommend Captain Dan enough. He made our anniversary truly memorable!

    The pike that got away

    Half Day Trip (PM) • 2 adults

    Daniel was on time, professional and had a great knowledge of the local fishing hole. Caught the biggest northern pike in my life on this trip. Just about had it in the boat then the line broke. Been fishing for pike since 1975 and this one was huge! Caught a bunch of large mouth bass and some small mouth bass, another pike and a big black crappie. My wife and I had a blast.

    Two big (4 pound) smallies!

    The weather was typical of Maine: not really what was forecast, and colder than expected. But, the trip was fun and we landed two of the biggest smallmouth bass I've ever seen. A four pound smallmouth is a rarity up here, and one smacked a jerk bait on top!
