We had a short trip (2 hours nearshore) - got to the locations quick and easy, captain knew what to look for, put us on the fish, and we walked away with a great experience!!!
This was our first experience on a fishing charter boat. We had 3 generations on the boat, and the youngest caught the biggest one which made it all worth it. Only issue is with Fishing Booker itself. There was great communication from the time of inquiry a week before the trip, but the day-before and day-of there were zero responses to questions we had. Then had an issue on the day of booking because our charter boat didn't arrive on time but a few minutes after our booking time of 8 am; which we were told to arrive 15 minutes early so we waited on the dock for about 20 minutes. I couldn't reach anybody through the provided phone #. The captain eventually showed up and apologized due to getting last minute bait for us. There needs to be a better process to communicate with someone at the time of booking. It left us a little frustrated but once the boat arrived, the captain was kind and we enjoyed the rest of the trip with him. He also made sure we got our full time in and even cleaned and fileted the fish for us. Also, he let my son borrow a fishing pole for the rest of our trip for free. Certainly, an adventure to remember, but next time we'll do the 3 hour trip instead, and hopefully catch a few more fish.
Captain Brent was outstanding! He was engaging, patient, and made my wife, son, daughter, and me feel welcome from the moment we stepped aboard. This was easily the best fishing trip our family has ever had. We all caught fish, and my 6-year-old son outfished everyone! Captain Brent made him feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. My daughter also caught plenty of fish and had an amazing time. We caught an incredible variety of fish, including catfish, sea trout, oyster toadfish, ladyfish, silver perch, and pigfish. We even got to see dolphins, which made the trip even more memorable. To top it all off, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the ride back. Thank you, Captain Brent, for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to fish with you again!
James was awesome, went and did a two hour trip for my birthday with the wife and kids, kids had an amazing experience seeing the dolphins and swimming in the sand bar. As well they helped with fishing when I did a little fishing with James as he was showing me how to better my skills, as Im trying to pick up fishing again. Caught a nice size fish but it came off the line last second as I was reeling but none the less it was a great time. I would definitely recommend and will come back to fish with James. Captain Jamie was fun and excellent with our 14 yr old first timers. They caught a couple of fish, had a stop at the sandbar swam and caught some crabs. We hit bird island and fished and he gave a great tour of the area with a lot of information and fishing tips. It was a lot packed into 3 hours but seemed relaxing and fun. The next morning the boys took what they learned and hit the pier for more fishing! Thank you for the experience and getting our anglers on track! A truly once in a lifetime experience.
We booked last minute because a previous boat we reserved different company failed. This was my sons birthday gift and Kim and Captain Jaime were so accommodating, they made my son have the best birthday, Truly a blessing 🙌 this company. We will definitely book more with this company. I caught a trout and my son will eat it. The whole family caught so many catfish but we threw them back. Overall this was truly a great experience.
