This was my wife’s first time out and she had an amazing time. We caught Wahoo, Mahi, and Black Fin Tuna! The crew were the best. They really spent quality time making sure my wife was setup for success. The hospitality Alan and Ian showed us was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to get back here again.
so impressive. this team has it down to a super-smooth operation. we were always over good structure and had multiple baits in the water at all times. Even on a hot flat day we drew 15 strikes and landed 14. At one point we had four tuna on at once and somehow ian got us through it without our tying all four rods together. You never know whats gonna be out there on a given day, but if anything is out there, these guys will find it. They're the real thing, old bermuda fishing. book them when you can. ben. september 2026.
Ben thanks so much for the review; it is greatly appreciated. We enjoyed fishing with you, and thanks for choosing us. Best regards, Alan
Our group of 4 had a wonderful time on the water with Captain Alan and Ian aboard Challenger. Their experience and expert knowledge of Bermuda's surrounding waters put us onto fish right away. We ended up boating 5 Wahoo, a Yellowfin Tuna and a Baracuda. We were graciously provided with a generous portion of the catch that we were able to enjoy with friends later that evening. We hope to get out on Challenger again during our next trip to Bermuda. Highly recommended.
Thanks for choosing to fish with us Daniel, and for the review that is very much appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you in the future. Regards, Alan
Capt Alan Card has forgotten more about fishing than i’ll ever know. What a great guy! He knows the water, the bottom and the way fish think. First mate Ian is the Captain’s som they’ve been a team for 31 years and with them was Tyler. Captain’s grandson. Great tradition! Couldn’t have been more helpful and they work! As Ian said, they get paid to catch fish. No one likes to end the day withour a fish, but there are a lot if ways you can get there, and this crew made us comfortable, taught us a lot about marlin fishing in Bermuda, even taught me a terrific knot! Would definitely Challenger Sportfishing Ted Hynes
Thanks so much Ted, very much appreciated.
My wife, a freind and I had an excellent day fishing with Challenger Fishing in Bermuda. Captain Alan and Ian were knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard throughout the trip to put us on fish. We landed a 60-pound yellowfin tuna and had plenty of action along the way. What made the trip especially enjoyable was how much we learned about Bermuda’s local fishery, fishing techniques, and the unique marine environment around the island. Alan and Ian were happy to share their expertise and made the experience both productive and educational. I highly recommend Challenger Fishing to anyone visiting Bermuda who wants a first-class offshore fishing experience.
Rob, thank you for choosing the Challenger, we enjoyed the day, and very much appreciate your kind review. Regards, Alan
my husband‘s and sons had a great time. Great boat great location. They were catching things when a lot of the other boats are one hour weren’t catching anything. Nothing went to waste. If we couldn’t eat it the captain was able to sell the catch to local restaurants. it was a very good trip. Be sure to take anti nausea meds before the trip if uiure prone to sea sickness
Thanks so much for the review Stacey, and for choosing to fish with us. Your comments are greatly appreciated. Hope to see you sometime in the future. Best regards, Alan
