You can do as much or as little as you want. Rod is always there to help, and has plenty of patience when asked a lot of questions, or when showing/guiding newbies on how to reel in a fish. He goes the extra mile in trying to get your goal.
Went out with with my son and daughter in law, we limited within a few hours and had a great time reeling in all the fish. Rod was very personabale and helpful, we had a great time and would do it again!

Rod was very friendly and easy going. But he was also very skilled at knowing where the fish were at what time that would give us the best chance of hooking fish. He was extremely helpful when it came to reeling in and landing the fish. We loved the covered part of the boat because the weather became a little bit windy and choppy for a while, and that provided a refuge from the wind. And, did I mention that we caught our limits of Chinook. We had a great time. I highly recommend booking a trip with him.
I’ve gone salmon fishing and crabbing with Rod from Reel ‘em Up Fishing Adventures multiple times, and he’s consistently delivered. Rod knows the water, the fish, and the timing—it shows in the results. He’s put me on fish every time and I’ve always come home with limits of crab. Beyond that, he’s just a really chill, down-to-earth guy who makes the trip enjoyable whether the bite is hot or slow.
