A beautiful ride out of Newburyport to get baitfish. Crushed the macks! Spot one for stripers...nada. Spot two...a couple. Spots 3 & 4...CRUSHED IT. What I love is that Bryce doesn't stop until he puts us on the fish! Cap'n Bryce is (1) a great fisherman, (2) patient and a good teacher and (3) an all around great person. THANK YOU CAP'N BRYCE! Already booked next year's trip!!
Bryce has been fishing this area since he was 13 and knew where to catch the best kind of fish and where to get them. We had along a 7 year old that loves to fish and drove Bryce nuts with questions but Bryce was really very good with him. In fact he caught the biggest Flounder and Stripper of the gang on board. The Stripper was the biggest that Bryce had caught in the last couple of years. I would recommend this out fitter to any one that wants to fish the Newbury Port, Mass. area Cant say enough good things about this fishing trip. Ron.
We booked with Cornerstone for 1 day of inshore for striper and one day for bluefins offshore and Captain Bryce did not disappoint. We came a little early in the tuna season this year but even with no bites the experience was awesome, lighthearted and overall excellent. Bryce took the time to teach us how tuna fishing is done, from reading the chartplotter for good spots to tying the rigs. We felt included in the process and learned a ton. The striper fishing was on fire! We caught bait in the morning and fished about 3 spots with numerous hookups every drift! The boat is extremely spacious and clean! We had a 4 person party and had PLENTY of room for everyone to fish comfortably. I have recommended Cornerstone to numerous friends and family and will be coming back every year! I'll never book with anyone else. This didnt feel like a charter, it felt like fishing with family!
