  Had the best experience fishing in Key West. First time there and we had no issue booking with him last min on a Sunday! Captain was very very friendly and approached our kids amazingly. My 6.5 year old had such an amazing time with him! We caught so many fish including snapper, a blue fish (can’t remember the name), a barracuda and even a FREAKING SHARK!! My husband who hates fishing loved the trip and wants to come back to Key West to do another trip with captain dean. Great experience. Great time. Would highly highly recommend to anyone who comes to Key West. He gave us a great time that we will remember forever and ever!!

  amazing day with Captain Dean

  I have been fishing down here for almost 15 years and Dean is my first go to when I want to land pelagic fish!!!! The amount of effort he puts in before a trip matters translates to the success on the water. When we fished yesterday, he had prepared fresh brined Bonita bellies as bait, rather than just using frozen ballyhoo. All of his knots and leader were freshly tied and the gear we fished with was all well maintained. Boat was clean (no smelly fish box) - and his go fast contender got us out into the bluewater in no time.

  As soon as I met Captain Dean, I knew we found a winner! The scheduling and booking was super easy. The boat and the equipment is well kept. The music was great, the ride safe, and the fishing was a blast! When we got back to the dock, Captain Dean cut our fish so we could take it to a restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about Salty Dawgs Charters and Captain Dean! They have the passion and the experience. I highly recommend!

  Unforgettable day on the water

  Booked a full day trip with the Salty Dawgs fishing charter. It was one of the best experiences we had in Key West. Captain Dean and his crew are clearly passionate about what they do. They were super friendly and knew where to take us to find fish. The boat was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. They made everything easy from baiting the hooks to cleaning the fish. Can't wait to come back next year! Highly recommend!

  BEST CHARTER IVE FISHED

  This is the best charter boat I’ve fished so far, we caught plenty of kingfish, mahi, yellowtail, and grouper. The captain put us on fish and was on top of everything making sure that lines were set and in the water and extremely nice person as well.
