Captain was amazing best fishing experience in my life

8 Hour Trip – Spring Chinook2 adults

The captain was absolutely amazing. It was like fishing with the best friend. He was just as happy about the fish I caught as I was, and he got me the biggest surgeon I’ve ever caught in my life would 100% recommend him to anybody that’s out looking to have a good time. I’ll definitely book them again.

    Trip of a Lifetime! I would definitely book again!

    8 hour trip - Trophy Sturgeon • 2 adults

    I booked this trip as I was just passing through on a road trip. I sacrificed an additional day an Olympic National Park for this fishing trip and I would do it again! I do not think there is a better value, for the money, than the Trophy Sturgeon trip - and I have done dozens of fishing charters. The boat is extremely nice and comfortable. The captain is knowledgeable and fun to talk to, and lets you be very involved. It was nice beind able to set the hook yourself, and reel it in; sometimes it doesn't feel immersive enough when a guide just hands you the rod to reel in only, with the hook already set (trolling is different). Overall, I was able to land four White Sturgeon, and lost two others. The landed Sturgeon lengths were: Baby size x2 4.5 feet and a 9 foot giant! If you're hesitant about doing this trip, don't be! It was extremely worth it for me and I will be booking it again if I am ever in town again. Also, we didn’t see another boat and had absolutely nobody else to worry about, which was a nice bonus.

    Great Trip

    We had a great time going out on the Columbia River with Captain Isaac. He was super knowledgeable and just easy to get along with. I only landed a sturgeon a little over a foot long, boat record from what i was told. So thats something to be proud of. I will definitely be back out at some point to chase down a mosnter sturgeon!

    This was so much FUN

    I have been wanting to catch white stergeon for some years now and this was the best fishing guide I have been on. we did have one break off after fighing for 3 hours but that is fishing. my experience was amazing if I ever come back to Washington I will have to do it again.

    April fishing trip

    Me and my husband had a great time out on the river with Isaac! He’s enthusiastic about fishing and loves to be on the water. His passion for fishing made it a memorable trip for us! We will definitely book with Isaac again when we’re back in Oregon.

    We booked this trophy Sturgeon trip knowing that we may not catch, my wife and I both caught fish and had a great time. Captain Isaac is very knowledgeable and a top notch guide. We will definitely be back to fish with Hammered Down.
