Half Day Trip2 adults

me and my fiance went out looking for tarpon and captain Doug did eveything he could and made this trip amazing!! Since we werent in full season and they are tricky fish we didnt catch one but Doug still did his best and set us up perfectly… we will definitely be back!!! thanks Doug:)

    Captain Doug of Jewel of the Bay Charters delivered an exceptional experience during our spring break trip. From the moment we got on the water, it was clear he not only knows how to find fish, but also genuinely cares about the people he’s guiding. He showed incredible patience and attention with my son, making sure he was engaged, learning, and having a great time throughout the trip. What stood out most was his passion for fishing and his ability to share that enthusiasm in a way that made the day memorable for both of us. This was more than just a charter, it felt like time spent with someone who truly loves what he does and takes pride in creating a great experience for his clients. I would highly recommend Captain Doug to anyone looking for a top-tier day on the water.

    Incredible morning, caught so many fish!

    We spent a morning fishing with Capt Doug who picked us up at our dock in Anna Maria. We caugh tons of fish and took home several to grill. The Captain was an interesting and friendly man who worked incredibly hard the entire trip since we caught so many fish. It was a great excursion for kids who need to keep those poles bent to be happy!

    Most Fish Ever Caught

    Half Day Trip • 2 adults

    Captain Doug gave us a great morning fish. Caught 49 fish. 7 varieties of fish caught. He got slams for both my wife and I. Slam is Trout, Snook, Redfish caught in the same day. I got the double slam. Prepared, knowledgeable, and super nice and patient. This is our 6th fishing charter. One of the best.

    Amazing trip!!

    Absolutely amazing experience with Captain Doug! We caught trout, catfish, mangrove snapper, blue fish, jack fish, snook fish and lady fish! The Captain was very communicative, super helpful on the boat and the made it a super fun time! We will definitely be coming back!
