  Kids caught fish and had a blast - Captain Riccardo was fantastic with them

  Amazing day out with the whole family! We booked this trip for our two kids (ages 5 and 8), and Captain Riccardo was fantastic with them from start to finish: patient, encouraging, and genuinely great with kids. Both of them reeled in a ton of fish and were beaming the entire time. What really made the trip was how knowledgeable Riccardo was about the lake and local wildlife, it added a whole extra layer to the experience beyond just fishing. The pace was relaxed and low-pressure, perfect for young kids, and the whole day just felt easy and fun. Highly recommend for families. We'd book again in a heartbeat!

  150cm 20.51kg cat fish finally

  My original goal was simply to catch a 1-meter Wels catfish, but my very first fish already reached that goal. In the last 2.5 hours around sunset, I caught 6 catfish, including one measuring 120 cm and another measuring 150 cm, weighing 20.51 kg. It was far beyond anything I had expected. The captain was extremely professional. He guided me through every step of the process—you just had to follow his instructions, and you could catch fish. At the end of the trip, the captain and I exchanged lures. I gave him my favorite confidence lure and showed him exactly how I fish it. Hopefully, it will help future anglers who come after me.

  We spent the morning with Riccardo and we would absolutely do it again. His setup is dialed in to a degree you rarely see: long, light lines tied with tiny nymph-imitating hooks that he winds himself—each one a miniature piece of engineering tuned specifically for the lake’s trout, perch, and shad. The presentation is delicate, precise, and effective. We landed over 40 fish (mostly on the smaller side, but nonstop action), and Riccardo’s ability to read the water, adjust depth, and coach technique in real time made all the difference. He also has a great instinct - he subtly fueled a running competition between me and my son for the full trip. The scenery is postcard-perfect, and Riccardo’s knowledge of the lake—its structure, currents, and fish behavior—is deep and generously shared. You’ll learn something, catch a lot, and have a genuinely great time.

  Biggest fish of my life

  Had a great experience fishing with Riccardo. We went out for 4 hours, I caught the biggest fish of my life and he even gave me a quick tour around the villas since our fishing was so good I didn’t feel the need to push for the last 10 minutes of fishing we had scheduled. It was really cool to use the live sonar and see the fish so clearly. Would highly recommend his charter and will be going out with him again if I’m in the area and want to fish Lake Como!

  Unforgettable day fishing Lake Como with Riccardo

  Riccardo was an incredible guide; professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about making the experience special. When I couldn’t make the ferry, he didn’t hesitate to boat across Lake Como to pick me up himself, which completely saved the trip. He had everything perfectly prepared and quickly set me up to target Wells catfish and perch. Even though the lucioperca weren’t biting that day, we still had constant action and great conversation. I ended up landing a massive Wells catfish; an experience I’ll never forget! Riccardo’s knowledge of the lake and his attentiveness made it feel effortless to fish successfully and enjoy the day. If you’re visiting Lake Como and want a truly memorable and authentic fishing adventure, I can’t recommend him enough.
