  Just wrapped up an incredible day fishing with Captain Ryan on Old Hickory Lake and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better birthday experience 🎣 Captain Ryan was amazing — super knowledgeable, knew exactly where to go, and had us on some seriously good-sized catfish. You can tell he really knows these waters and loves what he does. Everything was easy, fun, and just a great vibe from start to finish. Hands down the best birthday fishing trip ever. If you’re in the Nashville area and thinking about going out, this is 100% the guy to book with.

  4 Hour Evening Catfish Trip on August 27, 2026 • 2 adults

  We got spun around finding the launch ramp, but Capt. Ryan drove by boat to pick us up at the launch ramp we were closest to. We boarded the boat and proceeded to catch catfish well into the evening, even catching the biggest fish of the night on the last cast. Capt. Ryan was very professional and knowledgeable of the local fishing and we were pleased with the service on this trip. I would definitely recommend the Nashville Kats experience to all.

  4 hour Catfish Trips on July 1, 2026 • 3 adults

  For what was an unusually hot week in Nashville with excessive heat warnings, we still managed to pull in 10 catfish, including 5 blues that were over 20 pounds. Captain Ryan was extremely knowledgeable, answering all of our questions and then some. I would 100% recommend this charter and will be a repeat customer myself. My boys and I had a blast.

  6 Hour Catfish Trip on June 19, 2026 • 1 adult

  Trip was great fun. Trolled for catfish, caught channel and blue catfish, including a 35 lb. blue (yes, we weighed it to get an accurate weight, no exaggerated fish stories here). Captain was professional with an easy-going demeanor. The boat and tackle were in excellent condition. Would absolutely go out with this Captain again, and recommend this charter to others.

  Fishing with my grandson and friend

  4hr Multi-Species trip on July 19, 2026 • 2 adults

  This was the first time fishing for my grandson's friend. They are college athletes but worn-out from catching big catfish. Captain Ryan worked hard so could catch fish and have a good time, we did. Captain Ryan was there waiting and prepared even though we were a little early. I would recommend him anytime.
