1st experience fishing and it was amazing
Not only the view, the weather, the boat and the mood was great, but the captain himself not only taught me on how to fish but also was telling interesting stories! Will do it again! Thanks a lot

We set off very early in the morning; the communication beforehand was perfect. Aleksa is a great host—he provided coffee, which I was really happy about since it was impossible to get any elsewhere at that hour. He took us to several good spots where there were definitely fish, but—as can happen with fishing—they simply weren't in the mood to bite. We had a few nibbles and one baitfish that had been bitten, but nothing would fully commit. Fortunately, Aleksa managed to catch a nice 5–6 kg catfish. I learned a lot about fishing on the Danube, as well as about Belgrade and Serbia. It was a really great trip; I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Aleksa!
We had a fantastic fishing trip with Aleksa on the Danube and would absolutely recommend him. We were three people fishing together, and Aleksa made sure that everyone got involved and had a great experience. Most importantly, all three of us caught fish! We landed two pike and, as a real bonus, a large Volga pikeperch (Sander volgensis), which was a particularly exciting and unusual catch. What impressed us most was how genuinely committed Aleksa was to making sure we were happy with the trip. He was never watching the clock and was clearly more interested in giving us the best possible fishing experience than simply sticking to a schedule. He was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the whole trip. A great day on the Danube, some memorable catches, and a guide we would happily fish with again. We have already kept his number for next time! Highly recommended!

What a trip. Honestly, it was way more than just a fishing charter. Aleksa is such a chill guy and knows these waters inside out. We kept moving between different spots instead of sitting in one place and he was always thinking a few steps ahead. He shared little tricks along the way, made us coffee, offered snacks and made sure we were having a good time from start to finish. It honestly felt less like booking a guide and more like going fishing with a buddy you’ve known for years. We got pretty lucky that day too. Landed two zander, two asp (one of them was a personal best) and we also lost what was most likely a catfish. That’s fishing! I’d recommend this trip to anyone visiting Belgrade, whether you’ve been fishing your whole life or you’re just getting into it. I had an absolute blast and I’ll definitely be back on Aleksa’s boat.

We booked this trip for our friend who is getting married as a gift to him. Needless to say he said this is an experience he will remember for the rest of his life. Captain Aleksa, from the first moment became a part of our company and showed exceptional hospitality, warmth and pure Serbian heart! He was there guiding us every step on what technique to use, changed spots to others that were more promising and did his utmost for us to bring fish. In the end one of us reeled a gigantic 13 kg catfish at a period that is not common to catch them. All thanks to him! Many thanks Aleksa, keep doing what you love and hope more people book with you. With warm regards, Your friends from Cyprus!

It was the first time fishing in a really long time for my boyfriend and me, and it turned out to be the best experience for his birthday. Aleska is really easygoing and a true expert in their field. We had a great time drinking coffee, talking, and, of course, fishing. We caught a catfish and two zanders (and released them all) even during the slow spring season. And even more important, we enjoyed the trip a lot. Highly recommended!
