Justin was very knowledgeable about the the lake and what we needed to catch fish. He put us on the walleyes and thats what we was looking for. But we also landed a couple northerns, bass and bluegills. I was a outstanding trip. I for sure would highly recommend Mega Muskie.
I took my 7- and 9-year-old fishing with Dakota, and we had such a great experience! The weather forecast was a little ominous, and he was incredibly accommodating about adjusting our schedule and taking us out earlier. He found an amazing spot where the sunfish were practically jumping out of the water, and my kids had the best time reeling in fish after fish. They absolutely loved it. We would 100% book with Dakota again!
The weather didn't cooperate and we got a little wet. We also ended up switching boats and lakes after the wind picked up really bad. My 18 yr old granddaughter was amazed at the live scope and Justin was explaining it to her. She only caught 1 Pike and I caught nothing. We had a great time and Justin was very good at guiding us on how to fish for Muskies. My granddaughter said she learned a lot from Justin and wants to go again, so I will book another trip. Scheduled an afternoon trip with Dakota, but pushed it to a night trip for better weather and promising fishing conditions. He put us on active fish the whole night and we ended with 5 in the boat over 40" and three or four more hard bites. Great gear and organization, very knowledgeable on fish habits, and cares for the fish and fisherman. I look forward to another trip with Mega Muskies in the future.
This was a great experience and would definitely book again. Even though we didnt catch a musky, it was still very fun hunting for them. (you have to be a little psycho to enjoy it this much!) Hope to book a night trip with Dakota next time!
My wife and I were / are rank amateurs at fishing but Dakota made us seem like veterans. We scored everywhere we went and he was incredibly patient with us, coaching us through what we didn't know (which was a lot). We have recommended him to our family and friends. A great day with a very nice young man
