This was our first fishing charter experience and it couldn’t have gone better. Captain Darren did a fantastic job the entire time and helped create lasting memories for my family and I. We caught 16 fish during the 5-hour charter. Would highly recommend Pirate Charters to anyone.
Darren was excellent. We had a group of five on two different days between the ages of 17-73. One day the lake was like glass, and the next had 3-4 foot rollers and he performed exceptional both days. He had 15 lines out without issue on the first day and we limited out in 4 hours. He had great equipment and constantly monitored what was working and what wasn’t and swapped out when needed. His boat is clean and had plenty of space. He was pleasant to be around and informative prior to the trip. I highly recommend Pirate Charters!
We had a wonderful PM trip with Captain Darren/ Pirate Charters on 08/08/26! He made sure the lines were always in the water and he was quick to grab the poles when the fish were on. He kept the boat clean while we were catching fish, ensuring that it was safe from slips and falls. The boat was easy to find in the marina. Skipper was on the boat waiting for us when we arrived about 4:35am. We left right on time. He knew what was biting and were to find them. The Baha 30 had a large open working deck and enough benches for the 5 of us. He rigged 10 lines, so we were always fishing at all depths. We hauled in 2 large and 2 extra large lake trout over the 5 hrs trip. The catch made for great photos and great memories! We'll definitely do it again and highly recommend Capt Daren of Pirate Charters.
We had a great time and caught king salmon, coho salmon, and rainbow trout. We did the 5-10pm night trip and it was the prime time for reeling them in. Captain Darren was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe… and pretty quick on the reels which is great because we had many times there were multiple going off at the same time. We will book again in the future.
Night trips are an absolute blast and complete chaos! I had just as much fun as you guys did, look forward to seeing you guys for years to come!
