Bryce is knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to ensure everyone had an awesome time. He was very patient with all of the young fishermen we brought along. Everyone had a turn in the steady and sometimes rapid action. We ended up with a cooler and filets and lots of stories, and can’t wait to do it again next year!
We left port at 6am at the lake by 6:15am, rods set by 6:30am and reeling our first fish by 6:50am. Captain Bryce took care of everything from driving the boat and tending the rods. He is very knowledgeable about the area and technics needed to catch the salmon. His boat was well maintained and comfortable ride the whole trip. He was personable and willing to talk the lesser experience fisher person in our group through what to do and how to land the fish. We ran close to the legal limit of rods to increase our chances. I was amazed at how he was able to keep all the lines from tangling. When we had three fish on at once he spoke clearly and directly on what we needed to do to keep the fish apart and tangle free and land them all.
We had a great trip on Lake Michigan with Bryce Watson on Fishful Thinking Charters. We ended the day with 14 cohos and one really large king salmon, which made for an unforgettable experience. Bryce was knowledgeable, personable, and made the day even more enjoyable. His mate Troy was incredibly helpful and patient the entire trip. You gotta go out with Captain Bryce for a Lake Michigan fishing experience! Just BADA$$ from start to finish literally! Action was a word I used b4 going out.Action was the word for the day. We ended up 7 for 13 which I think is good for a few rookies. 4 Kings, 2 Steelies and a lake trout. Thanx Captain Bryce!!!
Bryce delivered a memorable experience for my 2 sons and father this morning fiahing for Kings. We had 7 Kings, 5 were a nice size and a fun fight. One of my sons is autistic and Bruce was super helpful in landing the fish each time it was my sons turn. i also brought my 89 yr old father who had a great time catching fish. highly recommemded !
