Captain John Bolton was AWESOME.

Half Day Trip (AM)3 adults2 children

My wife booked this trip for me and two of my boys, ages 10 and 5. These two kids have a fair amount of experience on the boat so that helps but still, fishing with kids is not easy. Captain John was patient, kind, and willing to teach the boys. No issues catching a limit of delicious white bass. It really was a pleasure and we look forward to fishing with John Bolton again real soon.

    Lake Livingston in September

    Had to work for it, but still managed a decent haul of white bass for a morning charter. Beautiful weather. Captain John is great, and I will certainly use him again on my next time to Lake Livingston. The wife and I had a really great time!

    Captain John worked with us, adjusting our trip time to work around some bad weather. And when we got to fishing, we caught fish! Had a great trip!

    Lots of Fun, Lots of Fish!

    We had a great day fishing with Captain John. It was projected to be very hot so Captain John suggested we leave an hour early, smart decision. The day turned out to be perfect for fishing. Captain John is a wonderful skipper and guide, great stories and he knows where the fish are. The bite was off the day before, but the day we went, we caught 54 fish in about three hours! Captain John and his wife cleaned and filleted the fish (in record time) and we had an awesome fish fry that evening. It helps that my son is a chef and knows his way around a southern fish fry! All in all, if you want to have a great day on the water, book a day with Captain John and Lake Livingston Texas Fishing.

    Nice trip on Lake Livingston

    A cold front came thru the day before, however, the captain still found the fish. Good fishing and great conversation!!
