  8 Hour Trip on July 13, 2023 • 1 adult

  Great day out on the “My Baby” Robalo. Captain Martin and first mate Angel worked hard to put us on fish all day. They knew my target species and put us on the right spots with the right baits - had a sailfish on that spit the hook but that’s just how it goes with sails a lot of times. Cleaned up on barracuda throughout the day, and picked up a Spanish Mackerel as well as a Parrot fish. Lots of near hookups that could have been anything, where fish were biting just short of the hook. The baits were kept fresh, the skirt colors were changed, techniques changed as needed and the first mate managed the lines with great attention all day. Down riggers, out riggers, bottom fishing setups, they had it all - and most importantly they knew these waters and where and what depths to target. Great crew, very friendly and happy to educate on techniques as well as always making sure I was comfortable. I would 100% recommend these guys for targeting any offshore or near shore species, and will call them again if visiting Cancun in the future.

  Fun first time outing!

  Robalo boat was under repairs. Fishing boats cancun called asking if we wanted to choose a smaller boat that was slightly cheaper or free hour. We arrives to LA Favorita and Captain Coca and Alex. First off crew was friendly and wanted everyone to have a good time. Would recommend them! Catch fish and make sure to have your fish cooked at a restaurant for great tacos! -Ryan and Hien

  Half day trip with Captain Martine & his First Mate.

  4 Hour Trip - 1:00 PM on August 19, 2023 • 3 adults

  As you can see we caught several Baracuda & 2 Bonita. Later my husband caught a Tarpin right at the dock. All in all a great time had by all. The crew was very courteous about making sure we were comfortable & offering cool beers, soda & water. Unfortunately our daughter got seasick & the Captain offered to continue the trip in calmer area which was a smart move. No sense in suffering through 3 hours. We were very happy with the trip all in all. They fileted the fish we desired to take with us and bagged it nicely for transport.

  Great Capt & Mate

  I have been all over the world renting charters and this Capt and his mate were awesome. We started off not catching a lot of fish but he the made a game plan and changed spots and what we were doing and then everyone in the boat caught fish. He also stayed out later for one of the ladies to catch her fish as she kept losing them.. Not only did he extend the time by almost an hour but he didn’t ask for more money like some do… I would recommend this outfit to anyone as they know what they are doing and will do what ever it takes to ensure everyone has caught fish before we leave

  GLORIOUS DAY with Capt. Martin and Rudy!

  8 Hour Trip on January 22, 2022 • 3 adults

  We (my two brothers and me) spent the entire day yesterday on the F/V MY BABY with Captain Martin and First Mate Rudy; it was an amazing fun filled day! The weather changed everything and took the Sailfish out of the equation, but we killed the King ‘Cudas and a buttload of Bonita (2 of them very big and strong fighters). Sometimes it just is what it is, and these two great men worked their asses off to put us on fish; NO COMPLAINTS! As we were catching the Bonita, Capt Martin and Rudy kept making fresh sashimi and ceviche for us all to enjoy and it was THE BOMB! These two guys are FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY and super personable; you’ll love them! Now, about the boat… it’s a small boat, but she’s a good ‘ol girl for sure! I am a towboat captain on the Mississippi River, so I can fairly judge boats. The F/V MY BABY is small, but comfortably fished all five of us with ZERO complaints, and mechanically strong and worthy. Like I said, she’s a good ‘ol girl and I’m going to book her again next July with Captain Martin and Rudy as my guides. I highly recommend these guys and have much love and respect for them!
