Captain Austin was outstanding! He was willing to do a shorter 2 hr trip for my younger son, which was very nice. He took care of everything during the trip and was great with my son (teaching etc.) He obviously knew the waters very well and knew where to take us to find fish. I will definitely use Wax’em Fishing Charters the next time we are in town.

    Captain Austin put us all on the fish and we waxed em! Limited out on sea trout caught a bunch of Spanish mackerel and he even put us on some snook. Plus he’s a really good dude, highly recommend and plan on booking with him again.

    Half Day with Captain Austin

    Half Day Inshore Trip (AM) • 4 adults

    Our charter was a great time! Captain Austin was polite and great company. Captain Austin took us to so many great spots! Fish were biting the entire time and when/if they slowed down he promptly moved us to another spot with constant biting! He was very attentive to our bait needs never leaving us waiting. The boat was perfect size with a comfy cushioned large seat up front, our boys fell asleep on. He cleaned all our fish back at the dock and even packaged them in ice for us. We will be referring him to all our friends and highly recommend!

    My wife and I had a great day out on the water catching more fish than we could keep track of! Red grouper, triggerfish and grunts were just some of what we caught in the gulf. He even took the time to introduce us to snook as we came back inland, which were an absolute blast to catch! Austin is knowledgeable and friendly and really made the trip fun, bringing us to the fish "hot spots" right away. We would highly recommend him if you are wanting to fish in this area!
