July fishing trip
They only allow one person to fish at a time. Wasn’t what we expected. Been on other charters where everyone fished. Was great for our grandson but we can all cast and fish. They cast for you etc. you pretty much give it a few reels and watch them fish. Captains were nice just not what we expected as we have been on other charters. Was no mention of payment. Had to drive around about 230 am to find an atm to pay them cash. Was not familiar with this area as we had driven over an hour to get there from my daughters home. Was originally told he would be there at 9-930pm but didn’t show until after 10 pm. We were parked in a city park dock area that had no lighting. Seemed shady and was a little nervous meeting there and not at a more used and lighted boat dock. Again they were nice and my grandson enjoyed it but he is 10.
I'm sorry you feel that way about your experience. Dock light fishing is not for everyone but it definitely is fun for people who understand inshore game fish. We cast most of the time to make sure the bait is in the right spot to have the most success then hand the rod off. Charter was scheduled for 10pm and I said I would try to get there early but catching bait wasn't easy so I got there at 10:05. I'm sorry you didn't see on the add to pay cash, Venmo etc. Jackson caught the Inshore Slam with a huge Redfish at 10yrs old! Thanks "Karen"
