FLP Fishing Charters 

I recently booked a fishing trip charter with Captain Michael out of the Clearwater Beach / Belleair Bluffs area, and it turned out to be a great day on the water. From the moment we left the dock, Captain Michael’s knowledge of the local waters is obvious, his fish behavior, and techniques made the whole trip a learning experience. The highlight was hooking into this absolute beast of a snook—a beautiful 40-inch trophy that fought like a champion! It pulled drag hard, made powerful runs, and gave me an epic battle. Captain Michael was right there coaching me through every step—giving calm, expert guidance on when to reel, when to let it run, and how to keep the pressure on without losing it. Thanks to his coaching, I was able to land this stunning gamefish, which is easily a catch of a lifetime. The boat was comfortable, the scenery was gorgeous (perfect Florida sunshine and water views), and Captain Michael made sure the entire experience was safe, enjoyable, and successful. If you’re in the Tampa Bay / Clearwater area and want to target big snook or just have an outstanding day fishing, I can’t recommend Captain Michael and FLP Fishing Charters enough. What an incredible fishing trip from start to finish! We had an amazing day on the water catching trout and staying busy with fish all day long. The scenery was just as impressive as the fishing, we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming nearby, which made the experience even more memorable. The highlight of the trip was hooking into a massive Goliath grouper. The fight was absolutely unbelievable and had everyone’s adrenaline pumping. Even though those fish are known for their size and strength, just getting the chance to hook one was an experience I’ll never forget. The captain was knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard to keep us on the fish all day. Between the trout, the dolphins, and the excitement of the Goliath grouper, this was easily one of the best fishing trips I’ve ever been on. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable day on the water! 🎣🐬🐟

We had such an amazing experience with Captain Michael! He was incredibly attentive from start to finish and really went above and beyond to seek out the fish we were hoping to catch. His knowledge of the water and the best fishing spots was impressive, and he made the entire trip so much fun. On top of being a great captain, he had us laughing the whole time with his jokes and personality. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. We couldn’t recommend Captain Michael enough and would absolutely book with him again!

Captain Mike was an absolute legend! We had an great time on the water, and he’s an expert at finding the best spots to catch fish. Despite our mostly inexperienced group, Mike was incredibly patient and quick to drop lines, both with bait and with some light-hearted jokes to keep us entertained. We managed to catch and release some impressive snook, and we also brought home some delicious Mangrove Snapper to fry up. If you’re looking for a fun and memorable day on the water, Captain Mike is highly recommended!

Captain Michael is extremely knowledgeable with sport fish and how to target them. Weather and water conditions were far from ideal yet he still managed to put us on fish. Very friendly and patient. His boat was in excellent condition and his tackle is top of the line and very well kept. He knows a great deal about the surrounding area as well. He made a tough day on the water an awesome experience. We would highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing time on this fishing trip. The captain kept things exciting by moving around to different spots, which gave us the chance to explore and experience a variety of areas instead of staying in one place the whole time. There was always something going on, and it truly was never a dull moment. The trip was fun, engaging, and a great overall experience. We’d definitely do it again!

Captain was very knowledgeable about the waterways, aquatic life, and land scenery and history. He was great with my 3 year old and she had a blast and us big kids even caught a few fish. Winner winner snook for dinner.

This trip was my wifes first. i did this for her birthday. Our Captain was excellent!! Knew the waters and made everything very enjoyable. Thank you Captian Bemnett dor a get adventure!

10/10 experience with the captain & trip! He asked what I wanted to catch before the trip, and took me directly to the fish I requested the day of the charter! Instant tight lines and great vibes!! Will be booking again! Would highly recommend for anyone. If you think its not possible, let this captain show you it is.

Got on the boat and was very knowledgeable on fishing spots and local businesses. Immediately start hooking big fish within 20 minutes of casting. We had some amateur fisherman in the group that kept losing fish. That was the only issue we ran into because we thought they could have been taught differently. But we moved to a new spot and within seconds they got the hang of it and everyone was catching fish. Caught 8 spotted trout and a Red fish all in a 2 hour trip. He even extended our time for a bit since he was available. Overall, nice guy and knowledgeable in this field.
