Lynn is a great guide, and knows the River exceptionally well, having fished it since childhood. He knows where the fish are located and what artificial lures work the best. He’s fun to be around and one immediately feels comfortable fishing with him. He is very willing to impart his knowledge to both young and old alike. He guides year round and I would highly recommend scheduling trips during all four seasons. You would get to fish one of the oldest Rivers on Earth in a very scenic environment, likely to see a number of eagles and other wildlife. In the Fall the leaves are spectacular! The smallmouth fishing on the Susquehanna is hard to beat and you will want to be fishing every minute of the day!

    Great Captain

    I have been on a lot of charters - and sometimes fishing is good and sometimes not. You can tell when the Captain of a charter is putting in time on the water or when they are actively looking for ways to put you on fish. While it was a little slow Lynn did not quit and eventually everybody caught a nice fish. I highly recommend this charter and can’t say enough good about the captain.

    First time you use a guide you don't know what to expect and you spend a day with the person. Captain Lynn made my day enjoyable, some of the reason was because he put me on fish and provided the the bait the fish were hitting but the main reason is his easy going personality and how comfortable he made me feel. We joked around and had great conversation through out the day. Yes, I caught a number of quality fish.

    AMAZING Day on the Susquehanna!!

    Full Day Trip • 2 adults

    Captain Lynn is a fantastic Captain. Booked a full day trip in the Susquehanna for my 13 year old son and I. It was a tad chilly (sub 60 degrees) when we launched, which caused a pretty thick fog for the first hour or so. Even so, we had 2 smallies on the line in both our first casts. Lynn told my son and I that the goal was to catch 50 fish for the day. At that point we were only at about 12 smallies combined, and while we were having a great start to our trip, I felt that Captain Lynn was maybe a touch “overly” confident. Well … with more than 2 hours left in our trip, we had to make a multiple new goals; a couple being to catch 70 fish and my son wanted to catch his Personal Best (PB). By the time we finished, we caught “more than” 80 fish, including a handful of 3+ pounders and multiple 2+ pounders. The biggest being a 3.7 lbs Smallmouth. We headed North from Ulster Launch and fished both the Susquehanna and the Chemung all day. Captain Lynn was a pleasure to be around, super helpful and knowledgeable… but most of all he was phenomenal with my son. Definitely (100%) will be booking again. And SOON !!!
