  Half Day Trip with Captain Andy

  I had an amazing trip with Captain Andy in February 2024. He was extremely professional and also a great guy to hang out with. His boat is great, his equipment is great, and his personality is great. Even better, he knew all of the spots and put us on the fish every time. We went fishing for Redfish and finished the half day after catching six absolute monsters. Captain Andy offered great advice telling us how to get bit and bring the fish in the boat. He provided truly white glove service and when I head back to New Orleans I will for sure be contacting Captain Andy again. I highly recommend fishing with Andy!

  Fly fishing with Capt Andy

  My second time fishing with Capt Andy and I couldn’t say enough about him. Enjoyed my first time fishing with him so much had to book him again. Be it Fly rod or spin gear Capt Andy has you covered! Couple things I really appreciated about my time with Capt. Andy, outstanding work ethic. He works hard to give you the best day possible given we are always at the mercy of Mother Nature. Secondly, Capt. Andy is just a straight fishy guy with fantastic vision. This guy can spot a fish a mile away. He was an excellent communicator and very patient. He can talk you on to a fish even if you don’t see it. You will absolutely learn from this guy. Wealth of knowledge and happy to share. He not only put me on fish, but also did a great job of improving me as an angler. I’ve fished plenty of guides in the past, rarely will a guide give the level of attention I received while on his boat. Finished the day with my personal best bull Red Fish and also a better fisherman in general! If you’re looking to experience the Louisiana marsh, I would highly recommend Capt Andy. First class experience can’t wait to be back on his boat!

  This trip was nothing short of amazing minus a little chilly weather. Zipping around the flats and getting put on fish every day. This was my first guided red fishing trip. I had a little difficulty seeing fish until capt. Andy pointed out exactly what I should be looking for. He instructed me on how to cast for these fish, set the hook, and fight these fish. I learned a lot and had a blast catching these tough fighting fish. Would 100% recommend a trip with capt. Andy.

  The most fun and most fish!

  I have only been Red fishing in Louisiana once, but the bar was set high by Captain Andy Jones. He was a great teacher showing me how to spot fish, gave casting and stripping tips, he communicated great and told me what to expect. He has spent years learning the marsh and works his tail off finding the fish. He is very knowledgeable on flies, lures, gear, and what you need to make the day successful. I fished with him for 5 days and I had shots at sheephead, black drum, and red fish. The number one thing is he is personable, easy going, on point, had a great lunch, and he makes fishing fun! I cannot wait to get back down and fish with him again!

  Full Day with Captain Andy

  Had a great day with Andy. Trip went as planned, on time, and Andy worked hard all day. Andy did a nice job of asking questions prior to trip in order to customize our day to the type of fishing we wanted to do. He put us on plenty of fish and gave detailed instructions, when needed, but knew how to not be overbearing...good bedside manner, I guess you might say.
