Excellent boat and crew.
My son, brother, dad and I fished with the Drop Back Charters crew out of Islamorada today. Very clean marina with plenty of parking. The docks are well organized and covered, there is an ATM on site at the marina office (don’t be a jerk, tip the mates healthily). The boat was exceptionally clean and Craig the mate kept cleaning all morning with each move. Very friendly and helpful crew, you can tell they do this for a living and take pride in what they do because they work hard and efficiently. We worked hard for ballyhoo for bait and chased the sail bite all morning. The birds messed with the bait quite a bit and cost us one sail. Although the winds changed last night, effectively wiping out what had been a great sailfish bite, we managed to land two nice king mackerel, which were filleted for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to fish with Drop Back again!
