Great family experience

Full Day Trip - Executive5 adults

A group of 5 of us ranging from 76 to 18 years old went out with Captain Shawn and first mate Jay this morning and came in with a load of Perch. Shawn and Jay could not have been better to us and were always worried about what we wanted to do and would give great recommendations. Shawn worked hard putting us on fish but when he did what a blast. Definitely recommend Champion Charters for a great experience on Erie.

    Memories of a lifetime

    We met at 6AM and ready to roll. we took off and went 25 miles east and they put is on fish immediately. Thats when the fun started! For the first ti ever the water pump went out of the boat and we were stranded. That sure didn’t stop theae guys. We managed to continuously catch fish and have the conversations of a lifetime out there. No motor no problem! The captain could have easily bowed out and called it a day but hes the real deal. Him and his brother were both on the boat with is and there main concern was us. If you don’t believe that lets talk about the captain cutting his arm open that needes stitches and he wrapped it up and we fished for 2 more hours. What could ha e turned i to a disaster made so e of the best memories we will never forget. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and my families as well. Use these guys you wont be sorry!

    One of the best fishing trip ever

    Not only was the fishing amazing, but the crew was half the experience! Captain Mike and First Mate Bear are phenomenal at their jobs. They always had a quick joke or funny quip to keep things interesting while still staying on top of everything. They kept everyone rigged up, reacted quickly whenever someone hooked a fish, and were always ready with instruction and advice to help us find and catch fish—even for the big bass fisherman in the group who kept setting the hook too hard and couldn’t seem to keep his rod tip down! Their knowledge, hard work, and great attitudes made the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

    The crew was super helpful and friendly, boat was clean. We moved several times after drifting to zero in on fish. They cleaned our fish for us at the end as we are from out of town and wanted to eat the fish locally for dinner.

    Captain and crew were very professional. Had a great day on the water with captain Jim although we didn’t catch our limit, he gave us extra time to fish. What can you say though that’s fishing

You definitely got a nice mess of Walleye but we sure would’ve liked the had quite a few more. hope you guys have a great rest of your time in the area. Thanks again.

    This was the best boat thus far that we have been on! We got to have two captains and that alone makes that even better for fishing spots. Out of all the boats at that dock this is the best!!! Definitely coming back again!
