Fun day fishing

4 Hour Trip (Mid-Morning)2 adults

Had a fun day fishing with CAPT Rick. He is very knowledgeable, has a great boat, and excellent gear. Although we didn’t catch any fish today, our guide tried very hard taking us to different spots and switching bait and a lures to include live bait. We had a beautiful day on the river and would jump at the opportunity to do it as again. Afternoon well spent.

Response from Captain

Thank you, Ruben! So glad to hear you enjoyed your day on the river, even though the fish weren’t biting. It’s great that you appreciated his efforts, knowledge, and the overall experience. We’d love to have you back for another trip!

One of the better smallmouth trips

    4 Hour Trip (Mid-Morning) • 3 adults

Our guide knew the water like the back of his hand. We left the dock, ten minutes later we were catching big bass. Guide was personable and easy to talk to.

    The Girls Win!

    4 Hour Trip (Mid-Morning) • 4 adults

Did a 4 hour trip starting 6:30 am. Rick tried to get us out on the St Lawrence but the wind was awful the week we were there. We opted for Black lake and it did not disappoint! We caught 18 fish! Smallies, large mouth and huge crappies! He pitted the girls against the guys, playfully of course, and the women came out the winners! Fun was had my all and Rick was attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you! We'd love to see you in Florida for those peacock bass!

Smallmouth Slam in Chippewa Bay with Capt. Rick!

He had us on solid smallmouth action from the start, targeting rocky structures and weed edges with precision. Rick’s knowledge of the area was impressive, and he made sure we were comfortable and catching fish throughout the day. The scenery along the St. Lawrence was stunning, and the bite was hot—definitely a trip I’ll be talking about for a long time!

    Response from Captain

Hey Todd, thanks for the awesome review! Sounds like a trip to remember—we appreciate your support and are glad it hit all the marks!
