After booking, he communicated expectations and worked out the best times to get on the fish. It was the first time my dad and brother got on some massive stripers and monster blues! The boat rides well and we didn’t have to worry about anything at all. Would definitely get out there with them again!

I always appreciate when a captain/guide wants to put you on fish and catch them. Vinnie is enthusiastic about getting you in the best position to catch fish and he doesn’t want to waste your time. Trust his knowledge and fish finder skills. Also, pay attention to and appreciate how he catches bait. He’s good at it and the live bait gives you the best chance to catch fish. Vinnie seems to feel successful only when his guests catch fish and have a good time—that’s what you should want in a captain. Our five-person group was a mix of experienced, less experienced, and first-time fishermen. Vinnie specifically accommodated each of us and we all caught fish.
We had an amazing time fishing with Captain Vinnie and First Mate Dwain. Good vibes all around, and we caught some fatty striped bass to take home. They did a great job instructing us on how to reel in the fish, they made sure we caught a nice amount. When I go fishing again, I will make sure to use Karen Ann!
I consistently catch fish fishing with this guy, and I consider him the most knowledgeable of all the guides I've used over the years. He's the best captain I've ever gone fishing with.
