Captain Ray welcomed a beautiful turnaround on the Knik River today as the foggy conditions lifted and revealed a stunning day at the fishery port. What started as a misty morning quickly opened into calm water, bright skies, and a memorable outing topped off with a very, very nice king salmon. It was the kind of day that reminds everyone why time on the river is always worth it.

Capt. Ray had a great day fishing on the Knik River. The weather was nice, and the fishing was good. The trip brought in two nice king salmon. Both fish made it a fun and successful day on the water. The weather was great, making the trip even better.

Captain Doug ran an Alaska salmon fishing trip that produced 2 king salmon for the boat. Our trips are scheduled for 5 hours or until limits are reached, whichever comes first, and catching fish is never guaranteed—because, as much as we would like to, we do not control the salmon.
