Morrison, OklahomaFull Day Trip – Sooner Lake Saugeye

This is a fun full day trip on Sooner lake for the hybrid Saugeye. We will start early and fish late. I utilize bottom bouncing with worms and casting areas as well. I'm always open to my clients ideas too. The wildlife dept stocks this power plant heavily with Saugeye and there is an 18in minimum. Plan on catching plenty of the invasive White Perch. Sooner is a beautiful clear lake in the middle of nowhere. We always catch them on this lake.Cena za do 3 osobaUS $600

Knowledgeable Guide
We had a great morning fishing. Caught a variety of fish. Joseph knew the lake and past days results so he was able to move us to fish locations. He took the time to explain fish identification and handling to my grandson and created some memories I'm sure he won't forget.

O Sauger ribolovu
Sauger are prized river fish known for sharp bites, steady action, and great table fare. They are close relatives of Walleye and thrive in moving water. Anglers target them because they feed in low light, school up, and often bite through the colder months. Sauger fishing suits anyone who enjoys reading current, staying mobile, and feeling hits close to the bottom.
You can catch Sauger with simple river fishing tactics. Bottom fishing and vertical jigging work well around current breaks, deep holes, wing dams, and below dams. Use jigs tipped with minnows, nightcrawlers, or soft plastics. Drifting or slow trolling near the bottom keeps your bait in the strike zone. Focus on dawn, dusk, cloudy days, and stained water when Sauger are most active.
Expect a hands-on trip with lots of feel. Light to medium spinning gear with a sensitive rod helps detect subtle bites. Bring warm layers in cool weather, a hat, polarized sunglasses, and non-slip footwear. Pack a small tackle box with jigs, sinkers, and extra leaders. If you plan to keep fish where allowed, bring a cooler with ice for the ride home.
Before your trip, check local fishing rules. Confirm your fishing license or permit, open seasons, and harvest regulations. Some waters have special gear or size rules. Always review current regulations for the water you plan to fish.
